Another Tips to Treat Your Cellular or Handphone

I have several tips to take care of your cellular or hand phone that I want to share with you:

  1. If your cell phone still has or in the warranty period, do not make any changes that may result in loss of warranty.

  2. Record the IMEI number, pin code and number / PUK. It was useful to guard when something happens.

  3. Avoid any shock, fall or scratch to your cell phone. Use ropes, anti-scratch plastic, sheath / condom / additional casing to your handphone to prevent or reduce the impact of.

  4. When charging the battery:
    • Remove any additional glove from your handphone first. So the heat from battery can be removed completely.
    • Only charging when the battery is completely discharged or already have a low battery warning.
    • Turn off your handphone before charging.
    • Immediately stop / pull the charger when the battery is full.
    • Reduce or avoid charging the battery in the car because it generally produced unstable electricity.

  5. Regularly clean the connector pin on the handphone (e.g. for battery) by using tissue or cotton-bud every 3 or 6 month. Do not use any liquids when you are not experienced.

  6. Save your battery with managing the Bluetooth, infra red, active camera, GPRS, vibrator, playing games, MP3, voice features, screen brightness, screen saver, radio and many other things that are not necessary. Switch to those functions only when you need it and then turn off again when finish. By turning off the blue tooth also avoid the risk of data theft or undesired access.

  7. When the battery drops, you can handle it for a while with enwrap the battery with plastic and tight it with a rope. Then enter in the freezer for 12 hours. After that, remove the battery and towel first. Leave some time so that the battery temperature accordance with room temperature. When you are, try to plug in and turn on handphone.

  8. Keep the LCD away from extremely hot or cold temperature because it will reduce or disrupt the LCD performance. In addition, avoid any excessive pressure on the monitor.

  9. Keep the cell phone away from any things that contain magnetic fields, such as electronic objects likes Television, radio, and so forth.

  10. Do not install programs or software that not necessary. It will affect or disrupt the performance of your cell phone.

  11. Keep away your hand phone from water accidentally. But do not panic if this happens. Do immediately:
    • DO NOT TURN ON THE CELL PHONE YET.
    • Open your phone, remove the battery.
    • Remove the water with shake it (but do not too hard).
    • Dry it with using cotton bud, tissue or clean cloth. You may use a hair-dryer, but not too long, so that the heat effect does not damage the phone.
    • If there is dirt or stains, use cotton butt to clean it.
    • Leave it for 24 hours or until you really believe that it really dry.
    • Reassemble the phone and then try to turn it on.
    • If this way still can not fix it, take it immediately to the authorized dealer. Do not using trial and error method with it, because it can be more damage.

  12. Avoid from SIM CARD replacement that is too often.

  13. My suggestion, if the phone age almost 2 years old, consider to replace it with another new phone. Generally, the maximum phone “strength” is only two years average. Therefore, you you should change the phone before the old one prices fall due to damage.

if you need a brand new phone, you can buy it from amazon. It’s very cheap!
